Many bridles nowadays are labelled as ‘customised’, but 2FitHorses takes it to the next level. We use top quality leather and, in addition to the sizes Cob and Full, we also offer in-between sizes. However, what makes 2FitHorses unique is that we measure the correct pressure distribution of the headpiece and noseband for each horse. That is what ‘customised’ means to 2FitHorses. Because not one horse is the same – something we already knew! Similar to not every saddle fitting every horse, a bridle is no different.
Whether your horse is sensitive or not, they all have their own preference for what kind of pressure distribution they prefer.
Anatomical vs. Biomechanical
Every horse has a different anatomy. That is why one type of headpiece will not suffice (and we are not even referring to its size) and fit all horses. 2FitHorses developed multiple types of headpieces and nosebands in many different sizes.
This allows us to make a perfectly fitted bridle, which is not only evident from the sidelines but can also be experienced while riding. A horse gives a different feeling with each head piece and shows a different behavior. Therefore we prefer to talk about the movement of your horse. So that we can get everything moving optimally.
Small details can make a huge difference
After reading that, it is probably no surprise that 2FitHorses browbands are formed so that they put no pressure on the masseter muscles or the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) of the horse!
